Each year families, teachers/staff, and students in grades Pre-K-5 take the NYC School Survey. The survey is aligned to the DOE's Framework for Great Schools. It is designed to collect important information about each school's ability to support student success. School leaders can use feedback from the survey to reflect and improve schools and programs. The 2022 NYC School Survey will be available from February 14, 2022 - March 25, 2022. Please take a few minutes to fill out the School Survey.
Families can access the NYC School Survey online at NYCSchoolSurvey.org. The access code for families this year will be a lowercase "f" followed by their student's OSIS #. A student's OSIS # can be found on their report card or the family's NYCSA account.
If you would prefer to take the survey in paper format and mail in the survey, please reach out to Ms. Donna

A Message from Nurse Yana:
This is a friendly reminder regarding the cold and flu season protocols. Please keep your child home if they are having any cold or flu symptoms. Once your child has recovered, please note that they must be fever free for 24 hours (without any fever reducing medication) before returning to school. Please ensure that your emergency blue card is up to date in the event your child is ill, and we need to contact a family member.

Below you will find a link for the MySchoolApps Lunch application. Please take a few minutes to fill out this application for your child. Please note that every school must have 100% of their families fill out the application whether they eat school lunch or bring their lunch from home. Please fill the form out as soon as possible.

Town Hall Safety Committee Zoom Meeting Tuesday, 12/7/21 @ 7:40am
Each year, we have a Safety Committee Town Hall Meeting, where parents are welcome to join our monthly staff safety committee meeting. The safety committee discusses various safety issues, protocols, and procedures within the school. The safety committee meeting will take place on Tuesday, 12/7/21 at 7:40am via Zoom. Please check the email sent from the AEA gmail account for the zoom link to join the meeting

All DOE kindergarten students are eligible to join the Save for College Program. Kindergarten families who do not wish to have their child’s data shared with NYC Kids RISE must opt out of the Save for College Program; the deadline for families to opt out is December 31

You will receive an email on 9/9 with your child's class, teacher, and arrival/dismissal information

Please join Mrs. Leto, and the AEA staff, on 9/10 for a Virtual On Stage informational meeting @ 12pm. Zoom information will be sent out via the email we have on file.

Supplies can be sent in starting on September 13th. School supplies (notebooks, folders, pencils, crayons) can be sent in first. Supplies will not be communal so each student will have access to their own supplies. Students should bring in a few supplies each day. Please note that parents will not be permitted to bring supplies into the building, so please send them in small amounts in your child's backpack. Thank you.
